Get ready for something DIFFERENT! The Adrian West Band (www.adrianwest.com) presents a show that moves minds and hips alike with driving music, thought-provoking science and cool visuals. A unique experience that combines driving live music with “LIVE VIDEOS” and a MULTIMEDIA SCIENCE PRESENTATION on “How Life Began on Earth.”
THE MUSIC:
Adrian West Band will perform its worldly, driving, original music (plus a couple covers) with Adrian on vocals, guitars, 6-string electric violin and live looping, Scott Keller on drums and vocals, Kevin Goldberg on bass and possibly other guests. Memorable acoustic rock songs and rockin' instrumental jams, with short detours into West-African, Cajun, Jazz and even an Irish Reel. Listen to samples at

THE SCIENCE:
How did life begin on Earth? It seems like an important subject, with huge philosophical implications, but we don't talk about it much. In between songs, with the help of videos and slides, Adrian will share the latest science on this subject and what it all means on a philosophical level. Don't worry, he'll keep it light. It is, after all, a night on the town!
THE LIVE VIDEOS!
We're going to project videos made for our songs and play in sync with them. It'll be like watching MTV but with a live band. Riveting! It's going be super fun and interesting! Please save the date and invite your friends. Here's what people are saying about the show: "Adrian's musical performance juxtaposed with an exploration of science is original, thought provoking, super interesting, and really fun. Very edu-taining!" -- Steve Budd (www.stevebudd.net), professional actor whose one-man show 'What They Said About Love' recently won the Best Of Fringe award at the SF Fringe Festival
"Adrian's show will leave you with both melodies and questions swirling in your head. The blurred lines between the living and the purely chemical, and between art and science somehow left me feeling intellectually balanced while delightfully, philosophically off-kilter."
-- Dr. Joe Hickey, PhD, Professor of Chemistry at Diablo Valley College
"The beauty of music combined with the power of science created something very unique & special. I loved the show!" -- Katarzyna (Kate) Piatek, attended April 2017 show
