A One-Day Gathering for Women/Womxn Service-Based Small Business Owners.
As a small business owner in the Bay Area for the past few years, I've noticed a lack of structured community for women/womxn who are running service-based small businesses. This event is my desire to build that community. We all know how lonely it can be to run a business so let's get together and amplify each other, support our businesses and build a thriving referral network.
Join us as we:
Learn business topics from other women/womxn business owners (bookkeeping, marketing and self-promotion, surviving your businesses ups and downs and building in boundaries for self-care, etc)
Build a referral network through structured networking, including a directory of all the event participants and their business, ideal clients and contact information
Inspire each other about how we run our businesses - we'll have lightning talks on tools, pricing models, weekly structure, etc
Who should attend?
One (or few) woman/womxn owned service-based businesses (therapists, bookkeepers, photographers, coaches, accountants, fitness/health professionals, doulas, event planners, health practitioners, etc)
Women/womxn with an existing business
Women/womxn who are looking to get more clients

10:00-10:15am - Welcome and introductions
10:15-12:15pm - Four presentations from business owners
12:15-1:00pm - Lunch break
1:00-3:00pm - Structured networking
3:00-3:30pm - Lightning talks
3:30-4:00pm - Wrap-up

The event will have a casual and collaborative feel that focuses on creating a community of diverse women/womxn with diverse businesses and we welcome any partners who want to support this community.
