Dust off your cowboy hat and spit shine your boots! Tonight’s Jukebox is gonna be hopin’ and a bopin’ with the hottest and wildest western-swing and country dance music.
WEST COAST RAMBLERS (Bay Area)
This finely polished and sophisticated Western-Swing stringband are fueled with lightning speed and infectious strumming. The 'Ramblers capture that late-40s/early-50s California Western-Swing sound made popular by performers like Tex Williams, Hank Penny, and Billy Jack Wills. They also take on the godfathers of big band swing and western-swing, such as Bob Wills, Speedy West, Benny Goodman and Count Basie, and add in their own personal touch- hip arrangements, twin guitar parts, and a little polish. Be ready to dance like it was 1945.
