Americana Jukebox (every 1st Saturday) welcomes Miss Lonely Hearts and Jaime Wyatt & The Bang Bangs. It's classic country vs. alt-country! It's honky-tonk vs. rock-n-roll! It's Santa Cruz vs. Los Angeles. It's a night not to be missed!
MISS LONELY HEARTS (Santa Cruz)
Hard driving honky-tonk with hints of classic country-rock, Miss Lonely Hearts sound was created out of a deep authentic understanding and appreciation of the roots country music that evolved in this nation. Their lead singer/songwriter was introduced to traditional country at a very young age and perfected his gut bucket vocal stylings singing George Jones and Hank Sr. tunes on the streets for change. At the same time their percussionist was living in New Orleans learning to play on a homemade suitcase drum kit. Their Upright bassist is the energy core of the band and gets every man in the crowd dancing and every girl in the crowd swooning. Every song is a dark, drunken, broken hearted hymn set to an unavoidably danceable tempo and intended to drive a crowd to a near fever pitch.

JAIME WYATT & THE BANG BANGS (LA)
Jaime Wyatt is a striking figure who walks the Earth with an old soul. Her repertoire tells stories of heartbreak and redemption, delivered by a voice that is both rich and magnetic. Comparisons are frequently drawn to Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Nicks and at times she has been anointed a female Tom Petty. Wyatt is a dynamic performer, dually noted as a powerhouse singer and stellar guitar player, sailing between vintage 60’s and 70’s rock n roll anthems and heartfelt ballads of love and confusion.
