ALLIED ARTS GUILD ARTISTS HOST “OPEN STUDIO SATURDAYS†IN MAY
Meet the Artists May 3 and May 10 in Menlo Park
Menlo Park, Calif. – Seven artist workshops and galleries will participate in “Open Studio Saturdays†May 3rd and May 10th, from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the historic Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. Visitors are encouraged to come speak with the artists in person and see their latest works, all in one convenient location.
Built in 1929 and recently renovated, Allied Arts Guild is a splendid example of Spanish Colonial architecture, set within 3.5 acres of lush, tranquil gardens. Its reputation as a beautiful and historic California showplace is furthered by its philanthropic purpose as a benefactor of the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
Visitors may enjoy lunch, late morning coffee/tea and afternoon snacks at the Guild’s restaurant, the Blue Garden Cafe, which offers delicious and seasonal dining al fresco or within the historic interior.
