Please join SF Curio for a private tour of Jessica Silverman Gallery's latest exhibitions with works by Autumn Ramsey, Eugene von Bruenchenhein, B. Ingrid Olson, and Robert Overby.
Jessica Silverman Gallery was founded in 2008. The gallery is known for discovering emergent artists whatever their age and bringing them to a global audience. They have a strong concept-driven roster that embraces all artistic media.
For this exhibition, Autumn Ramsey chose to pair her work with that of self-taught American artist Eugene Von Bruenchenhein (1910 – 1983) whose work revels in many of the same complexities of the body that Ramsey is interested in. Simultaneously paired together are the works of B. Ingrid Olson and the late Robert Overby – artists whose explorations of space and the body are replete with reflexive doublings and subtle absences.
