This gathering isn't an after party for some other event but its own thing: AFTA, which stands for "Artists For The Artists," offers a marketplace of local artists and an evening of live music. The lineup includes Slag (a 30-second-long-song grindcore band), Color (post-rock, nuanced indie-rock quartet), The English Language ('60s psychedelic inspired rock & roll) and the Groggs (Santa Cruz garage rock trio).
