Advanced Category Final Round with Chamber Music Piano Trio

100 pianists from 12 different countries compete for ten days starting on June 7th. Final Round of Competition determines Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists. Finalists perform with professional string musicians Ruslan Biryukov (cello) and Limor Toren-Immerman and repertoire includes pieces by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich and Arensky. Vote for your favorite contestant to win a $1000 Public Prize. This will be one very exciting evening of music with some of the most talented young pianists in the world.

All prizes will be announced on stage after the jury deliberation. Jury members include:

Antonio Pompa-Baldi, top prize winner at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition

Matti Raekallio, Professor of Music at The Juilliard School of Music

Namik Sultanov, Professor of Music at San Jose State University

Krystian Tkaczewski, Founder and Artistic Director of the Chopin Int'l Piano Competition in Hartford, CT

Chih-Long Hu, Professor of Music at East Tennessee State University

About the International Russian Music Piano Competition:

The International Russian Music Piano Competition is a California registered non-profit organization with a mission of providing excellence and education through competition and performance with an emphasis on Russian music.
