Adrian+Meredith Tour at Osteria Acoustic Bistro

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Adrian+Meredith, the Nashville-based folk, soul, rock, and traditional touring duo, will start 2015 by embarking on a new record and West Coast tour within the first few months of the year. The duo’s first time west of the Mississippi River, are performing in Colorado, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, including San Francisco at KC Turner Presents Osteria Acoustic Bistro, 7pm, free show with dinner.

Music-goers will be able to hear live-performances of their 2014 release Roam, as well as never-before toured upon songs, from their upcoming studio-recording, slated for first-half of the year. Adrian+Meredith is a Nashville-based duo, hailing from traditional-folk roots of Michigan fiddle culture, classic country, and early-2000’s punk influences. This will be Adrian+Meredith’s first time touring in the Western U.S., to challenge new audiences to their insightful, witty, sarcastic, raw, melodic, and harmonizing buffoonery.

After road-testing such songs in the Western US, they’ll return to Nashville to record with support from some of the best Americana, folk and country artists in the business, including Tim Easton, Paul Niehaus, and The Nashville Horn Section.

Adrian+Meredith isn't just another folk-duo traveling the country. They're a dynamic, hard-working, tour-de-force, ready to entertain anyone in their audience path, making instant fans every show. They blend folk, traditional, post-punk, pre-war jazz, soul, rock and roll, country and acoustic music in the same set, sometimes same song. Adrian's lyrics drive home poignant stories that make you think about what drink's in your hand, while Meredith's fiddle drives the mood. Adrian's harsh vocals keeps things interesting while Meredith's dancing treats you in new familiars. In the short time performing and writing together, they've been part of national music festivals Passim Campfire (Boston MA), Cory Chisel's Mile of Music (Appleton WI), CBGB's 2nd Annual Music & Arts (New York), dance festivals THAW (Chicago), MKE Follies (Milwaukee WI). They've been on touring stints with Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three, and non-festival shows with Los Colognes, Derek Hoke, The Dirt Daubers, Robyn Hitchock, Grant-Lee Phillips, Joe Fletcher, The Crane Wives, many more. They might be the best bar-band or the saddest listening room duo you've ever heard. They'll definitely give you their all.
