Sarah Sexton is the owner of Oaktown Indie Mayhem Productions, co-founder of OIM Records, minion at AEG Live, talent buyer for a variety of Oakland music venues, and a go to curator/producer for music festivals & crawls throughout the East Bay area. When she’s not starting record labels, she’s off causing trouble, trying not to get caught, and never saying sorry.
ALYSSA PEREIRA
Writer
Alyssa Pereira is a staff writer for SFGate and the San Francisco Chronicle covering pop culture, music, and beer. Her work has appeared in Vice's i-D, Esquire, Consequence of Sound, Paste, SPIN, PAPER, Radio.com, and CBS San Francisco. She received a Masters in Performance Studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied the relationships between music, social media, and culture. She has also presented papers related to the intersection of music and politics at Indiana University and the Université de Strasbourg in France.
CLAIRE GEORGE
Musician
Claire George is the lead singer of SF indie pop band HEARTWATCH, the co-producer and singer for the downtempo electronic project Chiara Scura, and the producer and singer of her self-named solo project. She has been involved in Future Youth Records, a nonprofit record label that works with at-risk youth to produce songs with positive messages, and has started her own web series "Babes, Bangers, & Burgers" where she interviews other women in music over burgers. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design from Berklee College of Music.

ADRIAN SPINELLI
Adrian is a freelance journalist who has hands in a number of Bay Area-based projects. He's the co-founder of Bay Area Music Media (BAMM), hosts the Noise Pop Podcast and is an Associate Editor at Fest300. His words and photos have appeared in Forbes, The San Francisco Chronicle, Paste Magazine, Consequence of Sound, SF Weekly & more. He cut his teeth in the music biz working for Rap Genius in New York, but came back to SF where he covers music, drinks, food, local arts & culture and says he's "never leaving the Bay again." TERRI WINSTON
Terri founded WAM in 2003 while she was a tenured Professor and Director of the Sound Recording Arts Program at City College of San Francisco from 2001-2011. Her love of music and the recording arts spans 25 years as a songwriter, composer, recording engineer, and producer. Winston was signed as a recording artist, engineer and producer by Polygram and BMG subsidiaries, and has shared the stage with such acts as P.J. Harvey, Pixies, Throwing Muses, Flaming Lips, Fugazi, Cake, and Third Eye Blind. She has collaborated with Lenny Kaye of the Patti Smith Group and Greg Hawkes of The Cars and worked as a recording artist and producer for MainMan whose roster also included David Bowie, John Mellencamp, Lou Reed, & Iggy Pop. Winston has composed and produced theme music for KRON-TV's "First Cut" series, Banana Republic and for various films that have shown on BRAVO's Independent Film Channel, French Television's Cine Cinemas and major festivals all over the world. She is a founding member of the seminal San Francisco band Her Majesty the Baby, has received numerous awards including an ASCAP songwriting award, Boston Music Award and Bay Area Music Award, is a voting member of the Recording Academy (The GRAMMY's) and is active in the Producers and Engineers wing. She has most recently produced/engineered Kronos Quartet, the SHE's and master world musicians from around the world. Winston has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
