Join us for a socially distanced evening with the artists as we celebrate the opening of Abstract by Nature!
Palette Gallery is proud to present Abstract by Nature--a duo exhibition featuring abstract paintings by contemporary local artists Jun Yang and You Been Kim.
Evocative, raw, and full of passion, both artists harness the power of abstraction and the inspiration of the natural world to explore the vast complexity of identity and feeling. In this series of internal self-portraits, each artist presents their creative process as the ultimate form of expression and self-reflection, materializing their emotions of the past months in a bold blitz of color. Without the boundaries of traditional representation, this collection of works explores the phenomenon of how departing from visual reality can often result in something that feels much more real, resonating on a far deeper level.
For a safe viewing experience, gallery capacity is limited to 15 people at a time. Thank you for wearing a face covering and observing social distancing.
