ABOUT PAM THE FUNKSTRESS
One of the nations most recognized female DJs, Pam the Funkstress is a true pioneer. The Hip Hop community has embraced the Funkstress for more than a decade not only as a club DJ but as a performing artist. She busted out on the recording scene as a member of The Coup. The Funkstress has been featured in music publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, 4080, Rap Pages, Ms., Fader and Wired just to name a few. Known for cuttin’ the wax with more than just her hands, she has been asked to grace the opening stage for the elite in Rap music. From KRS-One to Grandmaster Flash to Sean “Puffy” Combs in Europe, Pam the Funkstress has answered the call of duty to get the crowd fired up.

ABOUT REN THE VINYL ARCHAEOLOGIST
As a bay area resident (by way of New York), Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist made his mark by curating top notch events featuring hip hop legends and emerging artists from the Bay and beyond. In 2001, his True Skool events won the "Best of the Bay" in the SF Bay Guardian. Since True Skool's inception in 1999, his online magazine and newsletter has served as an information resource that covers hip hop history, politics, and events. As a DJ, he has spun alongside pioneers such as Mixmaster Mike, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jeff, Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, Kool DJ Red Alert, Q-Bert, Cut Chemist, DJ Premier, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, DJ Cash Money, DJ Bobbito, and Rich Medina. In addition, he shared bills with world-renowned artists such as The Roots, Erykah Badu, Lupe Fiasco, Wu-Tang Clan, Michael Franti & Spearhead, KRS-One, Lyrics Born, Pharcyde, and the list goes on. Ren is a professional party rocker who can put it down among the best of them with a vast arsenal of music to drop on any dancefloor, ranging from hip hop, reggae & soul to electro, house and breaks. Ren has appeared on numerous publications, such as the XLR8R, 7x7, SF Weekly, SF Magazine and SF Examiner, to name a few. He has graced the Bay Area with his non-stop seemless sets, making appearances at San Francisco's premiere venues such as Temple, Mighty, Mezzanine, Ruby Skye, 1015, The Independent, among a slew of other venues. In addition, he has appeared at Michael Franti & Spearhead's annual "9-11 Power to the Peaceful Festival", Outside Lands Music Festival, Myx.tv and KPFA's Hardknock Radio.
