Since returning to her recording career in 2019, after a 14-year hiatus, Miko has released 3 new albums and toured extensively in the U.S. and Canada. She has opened numerous shows for the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Little Feat, the Blind Boys of Alabama, the War and Treaty and many more. Miko is currently wrapping up production on her first blues album, set to release in the Fall of 2026.
Austin native Mia Pixley, Ph.D. is a psychologist, composer, cellist, vocalist, and water lover. Mia enjoys exploring the resonance between ourselves, the natural world, and the underworld. She has performed on GRAMMY award winning records and alongside GRAMMY nominated artists on stage (Fantastic Negrito, Will Ackerman, Barbara Higbie). Mia has also opened for Valerie June, Hauschka, and Holly Near. She delights in interdisciplinary exploration and discovery of all kinds.
