A Conversation with Peter Enns

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Biblical scholar and best-selling author, Peter Enns, thinks many people confuse “certainty” and “faith.” He offers an understanding of spirituality that views skepticism not as a loss of belief, but as an opportunity to go deeper into mystery, towards a more profound kind of knowing that only faith can provide. He will be joining Dr. Scot Sherman in conversation about his new book, The Sin of Certainty: Why God Desires Our Trust More Than Our “Correct” Beliefs.

Thursday, November 3, 2016 • 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Century Club of California
1355 Franklin St., San Francisco, CA 94109
Tickets: $20.00

The evening will begin with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by an interview and book signing.

Copies of The Sin of Certainty will be available for purchase.
