This celebration of Fatherhood & Freedom is a benefit for Albany Thrives Together, a non-profit that serves our unhoused neighbors in Albany, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Kensington & Richmond.
Soul and Gospel songs and medleys on songs from the American Songbook, a 20 minute intermission (refreshments & bio break) and closing with a Sing-a-long of soul and gospel favorites.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA, Entertainer Extraordinaire, Herman Harper II is a Singer, Song Writer, Musician, Actor, Playwright and Producer. He has performed and shared his talents on Cruise Ships, Concert Stages, in Theaters, Supper Clubs and 5 to 7 Star Hotels throughout the United States and Other Countries World Wide. His additional attributes consist of Vocal Instructor, Stage and Choir Director, Studio Recording and Stage Production. He has also performed and recorded with "Two Tons of Fun" "The Weather Girls" "Jeanie Tracey" and "Sylvester". On his own he has recorded 3 CD's "Living In Love" "Headed For The Streets" and "Sinking Into Love" along with one Gospel Musical Play "City Called Heaven" written by Herman Harper II.
