A Cappella Workshop and Open Rehearsal with Keeva A Cappella

Join Keeva A Cappella for an evening of singing to learn more about the group. The workshop and open rehearsal will lead the group through:
Some exciting vocal excercises
Some of Keevas favorite globally inspired repetoire including easy and exciting arrangements of the spiritual "Akhekho Ofana No Jesu" and the American pop song "Dancing On My Own".
We are always looking for new members so the workshop will also act as an informal and low-stakes audition if you are interested in joining our group.
FAQs
Do I need a cappella experience to attend?
Any and all singers are welcome to attend regardless of experience level or skill. We will be teaching music by call and response so no music reading ability is needed to participate and have fun. We will have sheet music for everyone too if that is more your style!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Counterpulse theater is in the heart of San Francisco and has very convenient public transit options including Bart and Muni. There are also street parking and garages nearby.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring yourselves but please no pets or food!
