Mindful Eyes Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit Corporation, EIN#36-4842186, established in July 2016. The purpose of this foundation is to provide prescription eyeglasses and vision services to those individuals that would otherwise be unable to obtain assistance through private insurance, welfare, or other social services agencies. Research in the US shows that homeless individuals have more vision problems than the general population. Uncorrected or untreated vision problems affect our ability to function optimally, to socialize and engage in normal activities of daily living, as well as affect earning potential, and job opportunity.
We are holding our first fundraiser on May 7th, 2017 at Cornerstone Craft Beer and Music in Berkeley to raise much needed funds to get Mindful Eyes supplied with the items necessary to help the underprivileged in our community. Please join us for an evening of Music, Craft Beer, Wind & Light Appetizers. There will be a silent Auction and Raffle.
Ticket Donation: $50.00
