8th Annual Oakland Symphony Independence Eve Celebration

Join Oakland Symphony for a FREE event that is sure to be fun for the whole family, with live music, food, an instrument petting zoo and spectacular fireworks show! The evening will begin with a performance by Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra, their final performance before heading out on a performing tour of Cuba this summer, The centerpiece of the evening is a FREE concert by the Oakland Symphony, conducted by Michael Morgan, featuring Sousa marches, music from the movies, singalongs and more. The evening concludes with a fireworks display over the water of the San Francisco Bay. The Craneway Pavilion delivers breathtaking views of the San Francisco Skyline. The architecture is the perfect setting with its large patio and floor-to-ceiling windows, that offer a perfect view of the firework display.
Seating is limited and on a first come first served basis. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs. Food and Drinks will be sold at our concession stands. Ample parking is available for $20.
