Mike Gushansky (Redline, As You Like It)
https://soundcloud.com/mikegushansky
You only have to see Mike Gushansky play live to know you've made a special connection. He's an improviser and storyteller, light and sure on his fingers, fluently guiding the long set. He feeds off the thrilling variables of a live performance--the mood of the room, the nuances of vinyl, all those things within and beyond control that can make a night memorable. He cares more about the groove than the genre, probing that golden spot between techno, house, disco and funk until he's brought the party home. And he knows that no two parties are the same, which means that each set is crafted for the moment, an intimate interplay between the artists, the space, and the audience.
Now a decade into the game, Gushansky is a co-creator of the Redline series in his hometown of Los Angeles, as well as a resident of San Francisco's wildly popular As You Like It parties since 2013. In addition to playing up and down the West Coast of the United States, he's appeared at Tresor in Berlin, Hot Mass in Pittsburgh, Smartbar in Chicago, SAFE in Miami, U Street Music Hall in Washington DC, Good Room in New York, Wherehouse in Tijuana, and Sessions in Mexicali, alongside the likes of Marcellus Pittman, Mike Servito, Antal, Hunee, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Omar S, Alessandro Adriani, Carlos Souffront, Move D, Prosumer, Peggy Gou and The Black Madonna.

Stoa (DeMentha)
https://soundcloud.com/stoamusic
An SF-based DJ by way of Michigan and Chicago, Stoa (Matt Wagner) first heard the gospel that is house music after moving to the Bay Area in 2011 and was immediately drawn to the art of DJing. This interest quickly evolved into something more... not just a creative outlet, but a medium to celebrate and foster the community this music originally brought him in touch with, in SF and across the globe. The name Stoa reflects the communal nature of his music, and while his sets shift between deep, minimal, and tribal sounds, there are two simple goals in mind: to set a proper groove and to create a warm, shared experience for his audience. Matt is a monthly resident at Wish Lounge and the Armory Club in SF, and is proud to represent his Burning Man camp, DeMentha, behind the decks.
