5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian pop-rock band that have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The band launched in 2011 when Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood began posting cover videos to YouTube; after accruing early viral attention and a budding following, they were joined by drummer Ashton Irwin, completing the lineup. The band released a self-titled debut album in 2014, and they've since released five more studio albums, including 2025's Everyone's a Star! Their fourth album, 2020's CALM, earned the band their fourth consecutive No. 1 release in their home country, making them only the second Australian band in history to have their first four full-length studio albums debut at number one on the ARIA albums chart. They've anchored a dozen headlining tours and have maintained all four original members throughout their career. In 2026, 5SOS will embark on the EVERYONE'S A STAR! World Tour.
