48 Pillars is a structural constraint exhibition where 24 Bay Area artists are challenged to create artwork within the framework of 48" x 12" panels. The diptych panels, 48 in all, will fill the gallery walls. This is the third annual 48 Pillars exhibition at Arc Gallery curated by Arc Managing Partner, Michael Yochum.
The 2019 48 Pillars Artists are: Pilar Aguero-Esparza, Cherisse Alcantara, Salma Arastu, Sue Averell, Mark Bauer, Diane Tate DallasKidd, Lynn Dau, Lisa Toby Goodman, Crystal Kamoroff, Philippe Jestin, Andrew Li, Lola, Derek Nunn, Jenny Phillips, Sandy Ostrau, Lisa Reid, Sawyer Rose, Ron Moultrie Saunders, Sahba Shere, Brian Singer, 3 Fish Studios (Annie Galvin & Eric Rewitzer), Mimi Chen Ting, Alberto Toscano, and Jenny Wantuch.
