Moonalice is the legendary psychedelic, roots-rock band of seasoned musicians mixing a variety of genres with extended musical improvisations that evoke a sense of adventure and exploration. Band members are Barry Sless: lead quitar, pedal steel guitar, bass (Phil Lesh & Friends, David Nelson Band, Kingfish, Cowboy Jazz), Pete Sears: keyboards, guitar, vocals (Sam Gopal Dream, Rod Stewart, original Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, John Lee Hooker), Roger McNamee: rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, bass (Guff, The Engineers, Random Axes, Flying Other Brothers), and John Molo: drums, vocals (Bruce Hornsby & The Range, John Fogerty, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Other Ones).
Moonalice celebrate their favorite holiday in true 4:20 style…with special guests, Wavy Gravy, David Nelson, Big Steve Parish and Jason Crosby opening. Since it falls on Easter, expect lots of bunnies (big & small), a Bunny Photo Booth and the most incredible Easter Egg Hunt with amazing prizes including tickets to BottleRock, the days Moonalice is performing, plus Moonalice signature schwag including poster art books, CD packs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, ashtrays, and so much more. The Poster Show opens at 4pm showcasing15 well-known artists who created a commemorative poster for this 4:20 event, plus featured are posters from 4/20’s past. Three silkscreen posters by Alex Fischer, Gary Houston and Chuck Sperry will be for sale. All guests can have their photo taken with the bunny in the Photo Booth and will go home with their personalized memento in addition to 15 commemorative 4:20 posters.
