The San Francisco Folk Music Club Presents the 2017 San Francisco Free Folk Festival at Everett Middle School on Saturday June 10th. The festival is a full day of music and dance workshops, concerts, vendors, and fun for the whole family. In addition, we’ll have evening dances and lots of jam space for impromptu music.
All ages and musical interests are welcome. All workshops are open to anyone who wants to drop in to participate or just listen. The event is completely free and is sponsored by donations from you our local community.
We would also like to welcome the Storytelling Association of California as part of the Free Folk Festival this year. We’ll have special workshops dedicated to the art of storytelling as well as an evening “liar’s contest”, a tall-tale telling contest with fun awards.
