The tour will cover artists working in a variety of mediums ranging from steel, wood, glass, paint, fire, and copper.

The tour will begin with artist Stephen Bruce. Stephen’s medium of preference is copper, although he appreciates the beauty and unique characteristics of all aging metals. Thomas VanHouten will be hosting an open studio with his latest sculptures on display. From the artist, “My work explores the building of devices and models as products of belief and understanding. I’m interested in why people build things and what motivates the mind to ingenuity. The fabrication of my sculptures becomes a way of physically working through my ideas, and finding deeper understanding of my own beliefs.” You can see Thomas’ work at tvanho.otherpeoplespixels.com/home.
