Join us on Saturday, October 19 for a free guided walking tour of one of Oakland Art Murmur’s gallery districts. The tour meets at 2:00pm and is led this month by Evan Reiser, visual artist and owner of City Limits. We will be exploring the theme of Art Collecting for the Socially Inclined as we tour several galleries in Jack London. About City Limits: City Limits is an alternative art space which exhibits “side projects” of emerging Bay Area artists. Artists are encouraged to create work outside of their usual discipline, show secondary bodies of work, or test out new concepts which deviate from their primary art practice. Previously existing as an apartment gallery in the Excelsior/Outer Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, City Limits will re-open for monthly exhibitions at a storefront gallery in Oakland’s Jack London district beginning November 2013. City Limits is owned and operated by Evan Reiser, a visual artist living and working in San Francisco.
