Bataan Legacy Historical Society in partnership with Memorare Manila 1945 and the Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program of the University of San Francisco present the 3rd Conference on WWII in the Philipppines - The Legacy of Two Nations on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10AM to 4PM at McLaren Conference Center at 2130 Fulton St., San Francisco, CA. Topics for this year will include The Role of the Guerrillas during the Liberation, The Battles of Leyte Gulf, and War Crimes in the Philippines. In addition, Bataan Legacy Historical Society will present the sample lesson plans for WWII in the Philippines which is now part of the U.S. History curriculum framework for Grade 11 in California.
