2nd Annual "Taste of the World" Art Exhibition

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join us for the opening of our 2nd Annual “Taste of the World” Exhibition in San Francisco, CA, organized in collaboration with the Back to the Picture Gallery.

You can enjoy works by some of the best emerging artists around the world. From eclectic abstracts, thought-provoking figuratives, and enticing landscapes. The “Taste of the World” exhibit will take you on an artistic tour through Europe, Canada, Colombia, and the USA. Showcasing original, contemporary paintings, paired with a sneak-peek into the lives of the 15 creating artists.

Try it ART's curator, Bouwien Luppes, visited each artist featured in this exhibit, in person, at their place of work. This allows the viewer to learn more about the artist, their inspirations and what drives them. Excerpts of these “Meet the Artist” blogs, written on the studio visits, are depicted alongside the artist’s work, resulting in an intimate and informative exhibit.

Giving back to the communities where they exhibit, Try it ART raises funds for a local art charity at every art show. This time the format will be a silent auction and exhibiting artists have generously donated artwork towards this event. Beneficiary of these fundraising efforts is the wonderful San Francisco based non-profit, Creativity Explored (CE). CE gives artists with developmental disabilities the means to create and share their work with the community, celebrating the power of art to change lives.

More information on this well-deserving cause can be found on their website: https://www.creativityexplored.org/
