Marin Art and Garden Center will once again host ASBA's Annual International Exhibition of Botanical Art in The Studio, where the 22nd and 24th Annuals have been so successfully displayed.

A multi-faceted series of programming will amplify the exhibition's impact, including in-person workshops as well as virtual studio visits.
Jurors Lee McCaffree, and Deborah Shaw met in May, selecting 48 artworks from 150 entries. Artists included are from the US, Australia, Canada, Chile, France, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, and the UK. Of the 48 artists included, ten of these have never before been included in an ASBA international exhibition.

As part of the exhibition, the Northern California Society of Botanical Artists (NCSBA) will mount a Chapter exhibition of their sketchbook exchange project in the upper gallery.
The sketchbook exchange project was organized with the goal of providing a low-key, non-stressful opportunity to try out new ideas and connect with other artists. The focus was botanical art but with a more casual approach. All types of media were welcome and everyone was encouraged to experiment, explore, and enjoy creating in an atmosphere with few restrictions.
Participating chapter members sent small sketchbooks to each other every month during a ten-month period in 2022 to 2023. Over 30 artists are represented in the exhibition.
