25 Years: A Celebratory Group Art Exhibition and Party

SEE EVENT DETAILS
“It’s really hard to pinpoint what is the most special about Minna. For me, walking into a building with a new art experience up on the walls every month has been, to say the least, mind blowing. But what I have seen and felt over the years from the beautiful hearts Minna has been lucky enough to have run her, is that is has been about THE PEOPLE: Minna's founder, Eiming, myself, Dave, Steen, Bethia, Jay Howell, Gabe, Micah, Brad, etc., etc., etc. We have always cared about people and a positive, fun life experience for ourselves and others. It’s been about supporting artists in any discipline: paint, music, dance, video, sculpture. Eiming was the first person to put art, drinking, and music together in a public business in San Francisco. The fact that we are still making it in the current climate attests to the strength of the people that have built a solid foundation for this business. Everyone that has worked here, shown here, and supported us, has got 111 Minna Gallery to this 25th Anniversary. Looking back at some of the crazy shows Minna has had - like the time our curator put a drag racing car in the middle of Minna as a piece of art, and we had booked, not only 500-person dance parties, but private events!!! - it’s been a wild and amazing experience. I feel that Minna is beloved by many, and will continue to be, as long as we lead her with our hearts in the right place, as everyone has before.” - Michelle Delaney, managing partner at 111 Minna Gallery
