One of the local experimental community's most anticipated annual events celebrates its 20th year on June 21 at the Chapel of the Chimes. Garden of Memory is a unique music experience founded by pianist Sarah Cahill in 1995. From 5pm to 9pm, attendees are free to move throughout the historic columbarium and mausoleum to take in simultaneous performances by more than 40 Bay Area composers, musicians, and other performers presenting a variety of acoustic and electronic music, installations and interactive events.
