For more than 50 years, ICB ART has been home to a thriving community of over 180 artists, carrying forward the Bay Area's storied creative spirit.
ICB ART Open Studios, one of the Bay Area's most beloved cultural events, continues in that tradition, drawing collectors, designers, and art enthusiasts from across the country, many of whom plan their Bay Area visits around this once-yearly happening. More than 100 artists will showcase their work across three floors of the landmark WWII-era building, offering a rare glimpse into the studios where creativity unfolds daily. Many ICB artists have exhibited nationally, internationally, and in museum shows.
This year, Open Studios will take place in November, shifting from the traditional December weekend to stay ahead of predicted king tides and flooded parking lots, while also giving guests more time to discover artwork before the holiday season.
Over two days, visitors are invited to wander the building at their own pace, connect with artists, learn about their processes, and perhaps take home one-of-a-kind works, or even commission something uniquely personal.
