Eat Drink SF Is No Longer At Fort Mason. What Else Has Changed?

Eat Drink SF, the boozy, delicious food festival, is turning 11 this year, and changing things up. Nearly synonymous with its breezy Fort Mason location, this year the festival will take place at The Midway, the hybrid club-event space in Dogpatch. And that’s not the only thing that’s changing: instead of three days, the festival will shrink to a single day, Saturday, August 24th, with only two Grand Tasting Sessions, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening.

In addition, Eat Drink SF features small bites from leading chefs, unstoppable alcohol flow and patient folks standing in lines for caviar. The new location will also have activations on the outdoor patio; something Fort Mason visitors could only dream about. Eliminating the previous location’s ample paid parking options and heading inland, the festival seems to be rebranding itself as a hyper-urban, local experience. We’ll have to wait and see how the change affects the chef line-up.

Tickets are now available.
