That Lady Thing is Coming Back Bigger and Stronger

Last year, That Lady Thing was a refreshing voice in the sea of ‘experiential’ museums. Coming back with That Lady Thing: Phoenix Rising, the gender-issue pop-up experience launches again on International Women’s Day. Behind the pop-up, part museum part feminist amusement park, are hotelier Liz Lambert and female-founded experience agency Cogs & Marvel. Jamie Shaw, who originally created the concept with the ad agency Eleven, recently joined Cogs & Marvel and took the project with her, continuing to harness the Instagram-friendly museum trend in a meaningful, powerful way.

More relevant than ever, the experience offers fun and thought-provoking activations like the Sea of Objectification, The Corporate Climb, and The Money Maker, which appeared in the original pop-up, with a number of additional new attractions. Ready to fight for equality while learning self-defense, guessing the pricing discrepancies between products targeted towards men and women and, well, splashing in a pool of rubber boobs? Then That Lady Thing is for you.
