Registration Opens

Where
Option 1 - In Person (registration required): In-person at Hotel Kabuki in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown neighborhood. Hotel Kabuki is a 20 minute bus ride on the 38 or 38R line or 15 minute drive from Powell BART Station.
Option 2 - Virtual: Virtually from wherever you are! We will livestream the entire day, including one of breakout sessions (so all day this time!). Registration is optional, the livestream will be publicly available via facebook. Register here to be added to our online community and program for the Symposium. Given our limited in-person capacity, this is a great way to get more folks in your camp engaged and informed.
Who
Theme Camp, Village, Camp in Village, Mutant Vehicle Camp, and Art Support Camp leaders! Registration is primarily directed toward returning camps. If you’ve attended the Symposium before, consider who else in your camp’s leadership may benefit from this event. If you're a new 2019 camp interested in attending in-person, please email
[email protected] and we'll register you.
Anyone can join the livestream. - Each camp may have up to 2 representatives attend the event. - We have a mix of registration options - all weekend (Saturday & Sunday), just Saturday, and just Sunday. If you want to go wild and have 2 campers attend only Saturday and 2 different campers attend only Sunday, that’s okay, just make sure to register accurately! - If we run out of seats, we have a waitlist you may join. As the date gets closer we'll check in so those who are no longer able to join us can open up their seat for someone on the waitlist.
Gifted Event
The Theme Camp Symposium is a gifted event from Burning Man Project! That being said, we had to move into the next realm of venues to ensure we had real separate breakout session rooms. If you're able, we'd appreciate any donations to Burning Man Project to support the Symposium! This is totally optional. Suggested donation is $5-50+ and you can make a donation at donate.burningman.org. In the Donation Note box on the form, please write "Theme Camp Symposium" so we can see how much financial support there is for this event. Thank you!
Programming
We're doing a survey of what content you want to see until January 11! Fill out the survey here:

You’ll need to have attended a past Theme Camp Symposium or Theme Camp Forum event as well. Here's the volunteer form due by end of day January 11:

We'll announce the final program in March.
