San Francisco Brewing Co. Moving to Ghirardelli Square, More Business to be Added

San Francisco Brewing Co. is planning to open its doors to new a tap room and on-site brewery at West Plaza inside Ghirardelli Square at the end of this month.

Patrons can purchase cards to taste beers poured from an automated tap wall. The ambitious facility will also have a 120-seat restaurant, 100 outdoor seats on a patio with fire pits, and family-friendly games like a 22-foot shuffleboard table, ping pong tables, and cornhole boards for relaxing entertainment. The restaurant’s kitchen has been built from scratch, and will feature a pizza oven. The official menu is still being finalized but will serve “elevated pub fare.”

A new entrance is being built for the facility at 3150 Polk Street and the building will also have a new, three-story Ghirardelli sign. San Francisco Brewing Co. is one of many businesses breathing new life into Ghirardelli Square. A dim sum spot called Palette and 18-hole put-put golf Subpar from Alameda will both open in the square later this year. And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Cartoon Art Museum, which also calls this area home.

Stay tuned for the exact opening date for San Francisco Brewing Company‘s Ghirardelli Square location, coming soon!
