Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd to Headline Coachella 2018

Just as we emerge from the haze of New Year’s Eve, organizers have officially revealed the complete Coachella 2018 lineup. Beyoncé, Eminem, and The Weeknd will headline both weekends with additional performances by electronic duo ODESZA, Alaskan rockers Portugal. The Man, Norwegian DJ Kygo and more.

The three-day festival returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA for two weekends set for April 13–15 and April 20–22. The headliners suggest there could be some impressive surprise guest performances. The Weeknd, who first performed at the festival back in 2012, could bring out Daft Punk for their two co-created singles. Beyoncé could invite husband Jay Z, and maybe even a Destiny’s Child reunion? Eminem, who returns to Coachella for his headline debut after making a guest appearance in 2012 with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg during a legendary set featuring a hologram of Tupac Shakur, has a solid history of collaborations, with the likes of Drake, Dr. Dre and the Queen B herself.

A few distinguished acts appearing this year’s lineup are disco and funk band Chic featuring Nile Rogers, funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai, and David Byrne, the leader of new wave band, the Talking Heads. Additional standout performers include rockers Alt-J, electro-funk duo Chromeo, plus electronic talents TroyBoi, Jungle, Marian Hill, and Petit Biscuit.

Passes for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival go on sale Friday, January 5 at 12pm PST. General admission costs $429, the Festival Pass and Shuttle Combo is $504, VIP Festival Passes are $999, and VIP parking is $150.

Last year saw performances by Drake, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar.
