Chromeo to Headline 2016 SF Oysterfest

Kicking off the outdoor festival season, Montreal electro funk duo Chromeo will be doing a live music perfomance at the 17th annual SF Oysterfest on May 7 in Golden Gate Park. Located at Park’s Sharon Meadow, within walking distance to Haight Street, the all day food festival will also see performances by rapper IamSu!, Mexican DJ Kinky, Los Angeles new wave band De Lux, and chillout act Miquel Migs.

The event opens at 11am with music starting at noon, running until 6pm. New enhancements to this year’s festival include early bird special on oysters ($1 off all oysters from 12-2pm), happy hour drink specials ($1 off all beer, wine, spirits 12-2pm), a reserved seating area, and a new space to pair oysters with choices from California wineries. The upgraded seating will be limited capacity, located stage front with express lines and dedicated bathrooms.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $45 for general admission and $85 for reserved seating.

Chromeo just played recently in the Bay Area a few weeks ago for the inaugural Super Bowl City 50 EDM festival.

Last year we previewed SF Oysterfest by interviewing Dylan Lewman of K Theory and his creative side project deelanZ, who performed alongside Thievery Corporation, Warren G, and Grandmaster Flash.
