The Book of Mormon Scavenger Hunt Comes to SF

On Saturday, May 16, musical fans will embark on a mission through the city to win a pair of tickets to The Book of Mormon at the Orpheum Theatre.

From South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez, the wildly popular Broadway production has won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The show returned to SF this spring after two previous sold-out runs.

The Book of Mormon will tweet clues to the locations of five doorbells hidden throughout the city starting at 10am. The first faithful missionaries to find the five doorbells win a pair of tickets to the show for a date of their choosing.

Participants can begin the scavenger hunt from anywhere, however those who meet outside the Orpheum at 9:30am will receive a head-start clue and a chance to win some BOM swag. They’ll also have the opportunity to meet a few members of the cast. Doorbell locations may be difficult to get to with public transportation so driving or getting an Uber is advised.
