Local wine, sweet and savory gourmet bites, raffle and door prizes and more are all yours when participating in the 2015 Saratoga Wine Stroll Experience on May 9. Produced by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce the event runs from 2:30-6 PM in Saratoga.
Over 24 local winery representatives will have tasting sites setup in a variety of businesses along Big Basin Way and at the Saratoga History Museum at 20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos road. Each business will have a variety of gourmet bites to go with the wine. A variety of live music and musicians will be located in the area. Visitors are invited to take time to shop and see the many boutiques and restaurants in historic Saratoga.
According to Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Event Manager Pat Martell, “This year we have many special opportunities for visitors to enjoy the event. An optional “special tastes†enables participants to purchase extra tickets to purchase premium limited wine tastes. These wines are not typically poured at wine stroll events so this is a great opportunity to sample exceptional wines. It is also a wonderful opportunity for wineries to showcase their best.â€
Other special additions to the event include well-known Saratoga Chocolates are giving each participant a sweet signature chocolate truffle. Tickets to win a door prize from Roku Inc. as well as a raffle prize of a basket of special wine will also be available.
Local musicians such as Rodrigo Teague, Matt Masih, Whiskey Pass Neat and Williams Street will be playing music.
