While the cupboard is not completely bare for Hollywood film releases this weekend, it might as well be; One Direction… is the best of them. But never fear, in between the BBQ picnic fun, there are a few smaller budget films that not only kick butt (The Grandmaster) and make you laugh (Drinking Buddies), they’ll also transport us, for a moment, into a different journey of life (The Patience Stone & Short Term 12), as only a movie can.
