Works/San Jose's Benefit Auction is Silicon Valley's most eclectic and accessible art auction. This year 90 artists are supporting Works with their donations, from the most established names to artists you might discover for the first time. Many artist make the work extremely accessible as well, with starting bids as low as $25. Only $20 for bidder registration ($10 if a member)
This year there are pieces from:
- Charlotte Kruk, recent winner of the Leigh Weimers award
- Binh Danh, whose work is shown and collected by museums across the country
- Tony May, a regional legend who has had a solo exhibition at San Jose ICA
- Joe Bastida Rodriguez, former Arts Program Manager for the City of San Jose
- Therese May, pioneering quilter whose work is on permanent display in the SJ Convention Center
- Katherine Levin-Lau, internationally exhibiting artist
...and many other widely exhibited regional artists such as Kathryn Dunlevie, Christopher Elliman, Ken Matsumoto, Angelica Muro, Gary Tolomei.... 90 artists in all!
