Half Moon Bay Brewing Company Hosts Beer & Cheese Dinner

Craft beer and artisan cheese in a beautiful setting like Half Moon Bay – that’s what’s on the docket at Half Moon Bay Brewing Company later this month.

On Monday, September 24, the restaurant will be hosting the Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company for a four-course feast.

The Stray and Giacomini families have been making handcrafted cheese in Point Reyes since 2000 and some of their best will be on display, paired with Brewmaster Kirk Hillyard’s fall beer selection and a menu created by Chef Gaston Alfaro.

Fresh Mozzarella and Chioggia Beet Salad

caramelized baby beets and Point Reyes fresh mozzarella, micro greens, watermelon radishes,

topped with a white balsamic reduction

Beer pairing: Mavericks Saison

Cream of Artichoke Soup

with grilled Toma cheese toast

Beer pairing: Oktoberfest

Choice of

Stuffed Beef Tenderloin

Point Reyes Bay Blue cheese, sundried

tomato

and capers with light Dijon mustard sauce, served with

herbed mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus

or

Roasted Vegetable Polenta Cakes

Toma cheese roasted pepper sauce, served with fresh asparagus
