First it was the Dough Room, which offered diners a unique dining experience. Now, flour + water is offering private dining in a newly renovated area of the restaurant: The Test Kitchen.

The Test Kitchen is located above flour +water and Executive Chef Thomas McNaughton said unlike the family-style experience of the Dough Room, it is a bit more private for those special occasions.

The Test Kitchen offers parties of 6-10 guests a chance to dine on an 8-course tasting menu, personalized for each group. The menus are based on a combination of flour + water’s unique, casual Italian fare with Central Kitchen’s sophisticated, ingredient and technique driven cuisine.

Guests can experience private dining in The Test Kitchen for $195 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. There is also an optional two-tier wine pairing for an additional $80 or $120 per person.
