Apple Promises Patch for Concerned iPhone Users

Less than a month after it was released, many iPhone 4S users have complained about a significant lack of battery life for their new device, a problem that Apple is trying to get to the bottom of.

Apple said in a statement that they were aware of the problem and that they have found a bug in their iOS 5 software, hoping to release a software update for users in the next week or two.

Users had been frequenting Apple’s support site to complain about the battery situation. The iOS 5 software has not only affected iPhones, but also iPads and iPods as well.

Users had complained that their fully-charged devices were running out of juice during the course of one day, even if they were not used very often.

Apple officials have already released a beta-version of their latest software update to developers, promising “fixing bugs affecting battery life.”
