Brazil’s sassy dance-rock quintet is back on the scene with their third album, La Liberacion, and they are certainly letting freedom ring. The album is packed with even more spirit and exuberance than previous albums, and includes drop-ins from Ratatat and Scottish rocker Bobby Gillespie.

“Hits Me Like a Rock” is poppy and gleeful, showcasing the beautiful lyrical style of edgy front woman, Lovefoxxx. “You Could Have It All” is more electronic and incredibly catchy, with sounds similar to !!! and Little Dragon’s recent albums. “Red Alert,” featuring Ratatat, is an epic collaboration and “La Liberacion” is the album’s rocker ode to their Brazilian roots.

CSS will begin their North American tour on October 1st in Vancouver, making a stop at The Fillmore on October 6th. Take a listen to a few tracks from the album below.
