And, no, I’m not talking about an outpost of the Coyote Ugly Saloon, I’m talking about actual coyotes who have made their way into San Francisco’s Presidio district. Two have been spotted roaming around Mountain Lake Park and the 100 block of Funston Greenway.

I have no idea how they got here or what will be done with them but The Richmond Blog reported the coyotes off a tip from a member of the Boulevard Neighbors Yahoo! Group. She was walking her dogs when she spotted two coyotes roaming around. Unfortunately, as her dog was chasing them off, one of the creatures was hit by a car. The SFPD showed up and confirmed that they were indeed coyotes.
