Caffe Pascucci Opens in SoMa

Many people will say, just what San Francisco needs, another coffee shop. But the popular Italian coffee chain Caffe Pascucci is not your normal street corner shop.

The chain, already operating in 20 countries, chose San Francisco as its first U.S. location. It opened on Monday at what should end up being a rather popular location right across the street from AT&T Park.

The menu is loaded with espressos, capuccinos, cafe confuso (gold espresso), iced and iced-blended coffees, yogurt cappucino, pas-ciosk (hot chocolate) and teas.

There is also a small food menu featuring soups, salads, sandwiches and other smaller bites.

While they are still working out some of the kinks, the interior is very hip and modern with comfortable, bright white chairs.
