Kudisan Kai is a world-class performer who’s eclectic roots have taken her from formal training in opera and jazz to unleashing her edgy, theatrical brand of music on venues from the Viper Room to the once-flourishing, CBGB. On November 15th, Kudisan will be gracing the stage of the Gregangelo Museum with an up-close and personal performance that will simultaneously ease your soul and knock your socks off.
On this evening, Kudisan is partnering with Beyond the Fog to celebrate her new book, Memoirs of a Backup Diva, which takes readers on Kudisan’s enigmatic journey, giving you a peek behind the curtain into her experience recording and touring with legendary icons, such as Elton John, Chaka Khan, and many more. Kudisan has since become a electrifying artist in her own right and utilizes her platform to convey her firm belief that we all have the power to shine.
Kudisan will be accompanied by the up-tempo, folk stylings of local musician, Geronimo JohnDoza, performances by the in-house Magic Chef, all while feasting on some good ol’ fashion home cooking by Auntie Jennie. Guests will also be given an immersive tour of the Museum, which has been listed as one of the weirdest places in San Francisco.
