"Bus Rides To Freedom" A Juried Exhibition & Art Gala
Enjoy the wonderful artworks on display celebrating the '1st Annual Rosa Parks Juried Exhibition & Community Art Show' will be honoring Rosa Parks, through a collection of themed art, art vendors, catered dinner, silent art auction, live jazz musicians/vocalists, poetry, live painting, all with the visual appreciation of human rights, and heroic activism.
Surprise Guest Juror (psst! a VERY well known activist & city official!!) will announce a special featured artist reveal, presented to residents of Rosa Parks building. Artists featured will have the opportunity to have a permanent presence and ongoing promotion. Jurors welcome all mediums, keeping with the subjects or relationship to the most famous bus ride in American history. Our mission is to build our organization through genuine community support. We aim to provide a plethora of art presentations, sculptures, murals, art instruction, art shows & exhibitions to the residents and communities of San Francisco.
