at Folio Books (see times)
Many writers join writing groups to gain feedback for and support of their writing. Odd Mondays features one longstanding San Francisco writing group, the 18th Street Writers, who meet every other week on 18th Street in the Castro to write for an hour, then read what they've written to their colleagues. Come hear four of the members discuss the pros and cons of writing groups, writing group etiquette, and how to make a writing group work for you. Michael Alenyikov, Andrew Chen, Wilfredo Pascual, and Genanne Walsh will also read excerpts from their work Monday, March 25, 7pm at Folio Books San Francisco, 3957 24th St. Free admission and free refreshments.MORE ABOUT THE AUTHORS:Michael Aleynikov is the author of the novel Ivan and Misha and numerous short stories published in literary magazines and anthologies.
